I have been in the car business for eight years. I was born and raised here in Dubuque and graduated form Hempstead High School in 1999. After graduation I went to Cedar Rapids to earn my Associates Degree in Applies Management at Hamilton College. As I was taking classes I started at a dealership washing vehicles, putting gas in vehicles, and other various jobs. When I graduated, I started to run the dealership’s internet and fleet departments. I wanted more opportunity so I took on the role of being a sales representative. This had to do with two of my three favorite things in life, people and cars. The third being sports. My wife and I are now in the exciting process of starting our family, so we decided to move back to where we were both from, Dubuque. I was born in Marietta, GA and grew up in the Atlanta area where I attended High School and graduated with a diploma in both a College Preparatory and Vocational Seal with honors. After being part of the Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp at Sequoyah High School I decided to attend University of Dubuque in Iowa for Aviation. My major was flight operations with a concentration in Corporate and Business aviation, with a minor in Sociology. After college, I began my career as a field service representative for National Association for the Self-Employed and Healthmarkets. After working as a small business consultant and providing health and life insurance for three years I have decided to fulfill my passion for the automotive industry.

I moved to Colorado shortly after graduation and lived there for about 4 years. Colorado is where I met and married my wonderful wife, Gwyn. I enlisted in the Army for 4 years and spent 3 ½ of those years in Germany. Our oldest son, David, was born in Germany during that time. When we came back to the US we moved to Oelwein, IA. We had our other son, Nicholas, while living there. My wife and I started working here shortly after Doug Warthan bought the dealership from Dan Kruse. I am originally from Menomonee Falls WI. After High School I came out to the Dubuque area to attended UW-Platteville for a broadcasting degree. Using my degree I became the nighttime DJ for Y105 for three years. I was Fast Eddie Hayes. After school I decided to start selling cars. I have been selling New and Pre-owned Hyundai's and Nissan's for a year and a half now. This job is a blast not only do I get to show people cars but I also get to help them fulfill their needs. I was born and raised in Maquoketa, IA and currently residing there with my 2 beautiful children, Jarod, 8 and Kaia, 6. I previously worked as a correction's officer before getting into sales. My first sales experience was in the furniture business for a couple of years and I just was not having any fun so it was time for a change. I have lived in Dubuque for all 27 years of my life. I have a three-year-old son named Hunter. I am getting married to my Fiancé Cory in September and we just purchased our first house to raise a family and work in Dubuque. I have spent the last 6 years at Staples in the Copy and Print Department working my way up to a manager’s position. I decided it was time for a change in my life and I just happened to find Kruse Warthan.
